Do I need an account to browse products on this site?

No, you don’t need an account to browse products or add them to your cart.
You do need an account to check out.

 

How do I create an account?

  • Click Sign In to access an existing account or create a new one
  • Enter your e-mail address and create a password.

Make your password secure

  •  
    • Use a combination of letters and numbers.
    • Make your password at least 8 characters long.
  • Click Register. You will receive an immediate e-mail confirming your registration.
  • Once you’ve registered, you can place orders on the site.

 

How do I find the product I’m looking for?

  • Use the search tool located in the upper left corner of each page.

 You can search for products by

  •  
    • Title
    • Required course name
    • Recommended course name
    • ISBN number (no spaces or hyphens)
    • Any word in the item’s description
  • Browse by subject.

 Click on a subject area on the left side of each page under Browse Products to see all of the products in a subject area (e.g., Aquatics). You can also click on a sub-area link to see only the products assigned to that sub-area (e.g., Swim Lessons).

Click on any product title or photo to see to its full description.

Click on the links in the “breadcrumb trail” at the top of the page to move back to product pages.
(Example: Home > Aquatics > Aquatic Safety )

 

What is an ISBN?

An ISBN (International Standard Book Number) is a unique 10- or 13-digit number that identifies a particular title and edition of a book. ISBNs usually appear on a book’s back cover.

 

Where did the ISBNs go?

ISBNs are included in the item descriptions but are no longer used for ordering products from the YMCA Program Store.

When possible, please refer to the item (SKU) number assigned to each product for ordering purposes. All YMCA Program Store item numbers begin with YPS.

 

How do I add items to my cart?

Click on the product, scroll to the bottom of the page, change the quantity as needed and click Add to Cart.

Click My Cart in the upper-right side of the page to view items in your cart.

From your cart, click Continue Shopping to return to the product selection pages or Proceed to Checkout to complete your order.

 

How do I place an order online?

After adding at least one item to your cart, click Proceed to Checkout at the bottom of the page.

If you have not signed in or created an account, you will be prompted to do so.

  • Enter shipping information.

If you are placing an order for the first time, click Add New Address. You can choose to use the same address as shown for your billing address or add a new shipping location for your order.

Click the Continue button to proceed.

  • Select shipping method.

All orders are shipped UPS or FedEx Ground unless you tell us otherwise.

If you prefer another method, tell us how you want it shipped in the Special Shipping Instructions box.

Refer to General Info for Shipping Costs. We will call or e-mail you to confirm costs if shipping by any method other than Ground.

Enter your Required By date. Click Calendar and select the date you want to receive your order.

Click the Continue button to proceed.

  • Select payment method.

If you saved your credit card information on a previous order, you can use the information on file. You can also use a different credit card or a purchase order.

If you do not have credit card information on file, choose Credit Card or Purchase Order and complete the necessary information.

Click the Continue button to proceed.

  • Complete order.

Make sure the order information is correct. Add special instructions as needed.

Shipping costs will not appear on your confirmation but will be applied to your invoice. See the General Info link on the left for more information on shipping costs.

If your order is accurate and complete, click Place Order to get your receipt and confirmation.

Print your receipt for your records. You will receive an immediate e-mail confirming your order.
